We are a traditional English pub – with a modern twist, offering real ales, great food, much of it sourced locally, and stylish bed and breakfast accommodation too.

Our country location – with the local church and former manor house as neighbours – provides excellent local walks and is also close to Rochford Golf Club and Essex Marina. The train station and airport are also only a mile or so away.

Linked to our traditional rustic bar is a cool and contempory conservatory which offers a fabulous dining experience. There are daily specials and themed evenings with fish being a speciality.
